BIG C NEW ME
Created by BTCF Chief Growth & Programs Officer and cancer survivor Amy Hart and her caregiver husband Eric, Big C New Me® is a supportive wellness program created for cancer survivors, caregivers, and those navigating life during and after a cancer experience.
Cancer changes more than the body. It can reshape identity, relationships, confidence, emotional wellness, daily routines, and the way people see themselves in the world. Big C New Me offers a compassionate space for honest conversation, creative expression, education, connection, and renewal — helping participants feel supported as they move through healing, caregiving, recovery, and rediscovery.
Through meaningful events, resources, the Council, and community-centered support, Big C New Me honors the full cancer journey: the person diagnosed, the loved ones walking beside them, and the emotional life that continues beyond treatment.

ABOUT THE POWER CREW
The Power Crew is a free, one-day experience created to help cancer survivors feel seen, celebrated, and supported.
More than a makeover, this event offers survivors a meaningful opportunity to reconnect with themselves, build confidence, and experience a day of care, beauty, encouragement, and community. Professional makeup artists, hair stylists, photographers, caregivers, volunteers, and support professionals come together to create an uplifting experience that honors each participant’s strength and individuality. Participants receive
-
professional makeup application and instruction
-
hair styling or wig support
-
professional photo session with digital images
-
lunch and so much more
Caregivers are also invited to take part in the experience, because healing and support often extend far beyond the person diagnosed.
The Power Crew also creates space for survivors and caregivers to meet others who understand the cancer journey and connect with professionals and community partners who can help grow their support network.
